On this beautiful afternoon, Kluang Days secretly opened its doors to welcome teachers and students from Pay Fong Middle School Malacca. They came all the way to Johor for an extraordinary day trip called “Tracing the Aroma of Coffee”.
In the morning, they visited #MyLiberica, a coffee processing factory in Simpang Renggam which isn’t far from here. In the afternoon, they dropped by #KluangCoffee factory, the pride of Kluangites, to learn how traditional coffee was processed.
We’re pretty sure they had a LATTE fun and a BREW-tiful day.
Pei-jun Ho's story has inspired us in so many ways. That's why when we knew that he finally agreed to speak at Kluang Days, we were beyond excited!
He's a pioneer in developing local industries and social entrepreneurship in small towns. This is a vision that we hope to achieve in Kluang.
We are happy to have the local and international artists from INXO as they rediscover the beauty of Kluang through their eyes, noses, mouths, hands, legs and bodies. We also love to see a group of young energetic volunteers from Kluang 2.0 introducing their hometown in their lovely ways. They really make us pround to be Kluangites.
In this world, everyone is different. The "weird" in your eyes may actually be a person's "obstacle". Let us replace strange eyes with tender companionship, use further observation and understanding to replace ridicule bullying. Special thanks to Kluang 2.0 and Flying Kids Occupational Therapy for bringing such a meaningful seminar to Kluang and leaving such a warm documentary.
